Do You Need Help With:

I Support the NDIS logo

  • How to use mobile phones, iPads, tablets, computers & other digital devices?
  • Using the Internet & social media – including the NDIS portal, MyGov, Medicare Online, online banking & shopping etc.?
  • Finding, downloading, installing & using programs & apps?
  • Buying digital devices or phone, Internet & NBN plans?
  • Customising your digital devices for special needs, or learning how to use their accessibility features?

I can help you get the most out of your digital devices. I work with you to find ways that technology can help you to achieve your goals, increase your social and community participation, and become more independent.

I help you get set up with your digital devices, installing apps and getting you connected with mobile phone and internet plans. After some foundational training, I work with you and your care team to find the resources you need for your ongoing learning and support, including online resources and face-to-face training.

I am sensitive to the challenges faced by people with disabilities and can individualise our sessions to suit your needs.

I’m based in Sydney's Inner West but I can travel to your home or workplace, or we can meet in a cafe or library (travel fees may apply.) We can also meet online using video chat.

Payment Methods

How I charge depends on how your plan is managed.

If You Are Plan Managed:

If you have a plan manager and don't have funds in the Increased Social and Community Participation (Category 9) support category I can still be engaged using one of two line items in the Core budget (see below).

If You Are Self Managed:

Self-management is very flexible. Self-managed participants don't have to comply with the NDIS price guide like plan managers do, and can negotiate their fee rates with providers.

If You Are Agency Managed:

As of the beginning of 2021, I have chosen not to re-register so I am no longer able to work with Agency Managed clients, unfortunately.

Please consider becoming plan-managed. It gives you greater flexibility in how you spend your budget and allows you to hire non-registered providers such as myself.

NDIS Pricing Schedule

These are my standard fees, but I am always open to negotiation (see below).

Face-to-face Tutoring and Training:

$100/hr
Remote Online Tutoring and Training:

$80/hr
Technology Training Needs Assessment & Report: *

from $100
Plan Review Reports:

$100 each
Consulting & Resource Development:

$100/hr

* Depends on the needs of the participant. To see what goes on in a Technology Training Needs Assessment, see the Frequently Asked Questions.

Travel Fees

If I need to travel for more than 1/2 an hour by public transport from Leichhardt to your place then I charge travel fees. You can avoid or reduce this fee by:

  • Arranging to meet at a location that is closer to Leichhardt, such as a library or a cafe.
  • Having sessions longer than one hour, e.g. 1.5 - 2 hours.
  • Meeting over video chat (Zoom, Skype, Messenger etc.)
Concessions, Negotiated Rates & Pro Bono

My ultimate goal is to help people with disabilities get the technology support they need. If you think you might have difficulty paying my standard fees, whether it be due to financial hardship, money not being in the right budget, having a plan manager who feels constrained by the NDIS price guide, or for any other reason, please contact me so that we can work something out. In very special cases I work pro bono (for free).
